Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Top o' the mornin' to ya!

Because I'm of Irish descent,
and because I love all holidays and corney music that goes along with them
(thanks to being raised by a kindergarten teacher mother
who makes a big deal out of every holiday and season to this day),
I bring you another "festive cheestastic" video:

*Remember to pause the blog's background music (bottom of screen) before viewing.*

Does anyone else feel like dancin' a wee jig?

Blog reader, teetotally (aka: TygerMag) sent me this in response to the video.
(This is what would've happened if the Irish nabbed Lucas instead of the Russians. haha!)
Thanks for the laugh, T. :)

May the luck of the Irish be with you today.
(And I hope you're all wearing green, or consider yourself pinched!)

Oh break out the guinness and green cupcakes. All our irish work colleagues left early today and told us to expect them in very late tomorrow morning if at all. Have a good one, all!

and I think the RA Fanstravaganza is like a big international slumber party!!! Lots of giggles and secret crushes (or not so secret)and talking about boys...well one boy with many different "character" traits!

That's a great description. Yeah, a slumber party. All I know is I'm havin' a blast with it, and I haven't spent a nickel. LOL! Yet.

I often feel like we are in the HS cafeteria gossping about boys. I truly believe that no matter what your age a 16 year old girl still lives in your heart.

Now that I got my :) for the day, I can get to work.

Thanks Nat!!!

I agree with Ragtag Richard should be supping a pint of Guinness! Not sure about the cup cakes but perhaps a bit of Irish soda bread (which I love)wouldn't be amiss. I wonder what Lucas North's background is? Do you think he may have a touch of the Irish about him? Alas being of Welsh descent myself I'll have to make do with a Daffodil or a Leek (as opposed to leak I hasten to add!). I'd rather share Richard's pint of Guinness (or should that be Vodka?)

Lucas says at some point in season 7 that he's from Cumbria. Hmmm. Awfully close to Ireland. (At least from my perspective. If it's typical of how other Europeans see it, those two place are worlds apart).

Thanks for the whimsical contribution, Nat. Where did the picture at 0:44 come from?

Oh, Sue, you have to drink some Penderyn Whiskey if you're Welsh. :D

BTW, I'm a quarter Welsh, so I'll drink a little with you.

But then I'm also a quarter Irish, so maybe I'll chase that with some Guinness. LOL!

Love Lucas wearing the green! That's a hilarious picture by teetotally!
My ancestors are Irish (husband's too!) although they've been in Canada since before the famine, so we're quite a mix now!
