More Sneak Peaks of Porter!

This topic may be old news to most of you in the Richard Armitage fan world but I have to
mention it anyway because it's Richard-related and who isn't excited for Strike Back!?
While on my Easter blogging break (I think I'm at least 5 pounds heavier... I love holidays!),
a new Strike Back trailer appeared, which also provided more lovely screencaps.
Links for the trailer and screencaps are available HERE on Richard Armitage Net.

I thought I'd share some of the thoughts that popped into my head
as
I browsed over the latest of the Porter screencaps.

Hey look... it's Gisborne without stubble or guyliner!
Ta-Da!!!

I'm digging the sideburns.

OhMyGosh!  He's unleashing the Thornton piercing stare!
To avoid melting, don't look directly into the gaze.

I love the pokey-uppey hair on top.

Aww... he looks sad.  He needs a hug.

Hey, Porter... Lucas called.  He wants his shirt back.

Say it with me folks: BRING ON THE PORTER!

Is anyone up for a "road trip" to London in early May so those of us not in the UK can see Strike Back when it airs?!?
During the day we can stalk...I mean scope out Spooks locations to see RA. Oh and I want to go see Matthew Macfadyen in Private Lives too...little sidetrip...
WHO'S WITH ME???

PS I love the pokey uppey hair too!

I'm sorry tyme_4_t but Private Lives finishes 1st May. I managed to see it and have to say it was wonderful and Matthew was hilarious.

Anyway yes, bring on Porter. I can't wait!
Thanks for linking to the site again Nat ;)

OK I guess RA in Strike Back and Spooks shoots will have to do for the UK trip! *Deep sighing & day-dreaming*
@Skully - I'll stay for Spooks 9 too!
@Nat - BRING ON THE PORTER!

I hope BBC America decides to air this.

I think we need to organize an email campaign to target BBC America. (Not kidding) Tired of watching Spooks on-line! And we need to see Strikes Back!

Since I have been going throu RA withdrawl my hubby found Cold Feet for me. The only prob not nearly enough RA in it, plus a vry questionable acid washed denimn blazer.

Just watched the trailer. WOW! Is about all I can say.

Thanks Nat this made my days, which as of late are super stressful your blog is like a little oasis. :)

Tattoos, tan, longer hair, shorter hair, emotional stare, uniform, sideburn, lean physique, did I miss anything? I have lost consciousness :D

ROFL.
Lucas wants his frown back too :D
I'm no fan of sideburns really but your ever so subtle make-up/over made me giggle :D
I think we will find traits of almost every of his characters in JP.. I wish I had a Tardis.
I want may. Now.

Yeah, the trailer makes it look like they combined all of these great moments in past roles that Mr. Armitage has played, and not only that, so many different physical guises for him that there will be something for every fan segment. I am really excited, too. Unfortunately final exams here don't end until after Strike Back starts airing, or I'd have rushed over there early ...

While we're waiting can't Stick-Figure Richard whet our appetites even further by starring in his very own Strike Back special just to keep us fangirls happy until sexy Porter arrives on the scene?
Just when you can spare the time from all the drooling, Nat!

Yes, BRING ON THE PORTER! :D

That stubble+guyliner pic made me burst out in a giggle. :D

Freakin hysterical! The Lucas shirt thing, dead on! I'm looking at the pic right now and I would have sworn that pic was from Spooks. Thornton-piercing gaze, good call! And as for the hug, how could a person not want to hug that sad, sorry looking face? He's just too adorable to be sad, (didn't mean that in any lovey-dovey way, more like he reminds me of a little kid you just want to make feel better)

@Rob, I'm with you, BBCA really should start showing the good stuff. I can't help but wonder why I'm paying for it if I have to look elsewhere to watch the UK's quality programming.

BTW, what is Private Lives?

tyme_4_t said...

@twinklingmoon - Private Lives is a Noel Coward play that Matthew Macfadyen & Kim Cattrall are currently starring in London. Hopefully they do go to Broadway in the new year.
I am extremely jealous of Ali who got too see it!

@Rob said...

@ TM -- I mean seriously everytime I look to see what is in BBC America and it is another episode of TOP GEAR!!!! Really? They can't squeeze Spooks in there??? Whatev!!!

Twinkling Moon said...

@Rob, I'm so with you about TopGear, I mean please, what is the big deal about that show? or they have some type of Gordon Ramsay show on...how many shows does the guy have!

@tyme4tea, thanks for the info on private lives! Is there a movie version of it?

@Rob said...

Can you keep a secret? I sort of have a thing for Ramsay, but only when he's in his white chef coat. Not sure why, but when he's in that kitchen, it does something too me. Not sure what, not going to over analyze it either!

As for RA love the picy in the uniform with those sculptured side burns. Hate the shaggy long hair combed forward.

twinkling moon said...

Gordon Ramsay, really @Rob? Nope, sorry, just don't see it :)

@Rob said...

@TM I know, I know...it's called being strangly attracted to someone. I think it's the strong personality, the fact he can cook (have a thing for men who can cook), and that he's a bit of a marshmellow on the inside. But, it is only when he has the chef coat on, in reg clothes, he holds no interest for me.

I am absolutely enthralled with the second picture -- in uniform. I love love love it. It's even on my iphone so I can make it wallpaper.

When we were dating and would argue, my sailor husband would go home, put on his dress blues, and I would instantly apologize. TOTAL sucker for the Class A uniform.

I need a cold shower.

Joan Crenshaw said...

Gordon Ramsey? I can see that!

@Rob said...

Thank u @ Joan! There is just something about a man who can cook. Isn't there? And of course the "uniform" helps too!!!

Here's a new scoop for you girls! A new article has just appeared about how Richard had to bulk up for his role in Strike Back. Apparently his secret weapon is "sandwiches". (I'd have though it might have been a plate of egg and chips at the very least!)

Here's the link:

http://www.richardarmitageonline.com/articles/Sun20100410.html

Now the trick is how does he lose all that excess muscle? (I'm way ahead of you on that score!Good old physical exercise, plenty of it and often! Any suggestions?)

The end of the link seems to have been left off on the one above.

It's on the Richard Armitage Online website anyhow.
