There once was a chap named Johnny,
who had quite the protective Mommy.
A cravat he did wear,
with a strong piercing stare,
though he was not what most would call brawny.
Now, John-boy had eyes for dear Maggie,
who was never too boastful or braggie.
At first she was ticked,
since a worker he kicked,
so their relationship started out saggie.
Johnny asked his dear Maggie to wed...
(Maybe he should've worn his hat.)
And then he thinks her sweetheart is Fred!
They still have feelings for each other,
despite that meddlesome mother.
although neither will admit it,
they want to get with it.
Then John finds out Fred is her brother!
Johnny was having trouble with the mill,
since he had way too many big bills.
Maggie had left town,
and with the mill shutting down,
poor Johnny didn't know what to feel.
JT traveled South on a train,
hoping there'd be something to gain.
To his great surprise,
Maggie caught his blue eyes!

Wow! You did the whole movie! LOL! Love it!
Aww, loved the retelling of that compelling story in your own light-hearted manner, Nat.
Isn't amazing how Richard continues to inspire so many people to creative endevours in so many different areas?
*big smile* Thanks 4 posting
Genius! Love it!
I like mommie boys....lol
Nat, you are unbelievably talented and funny!
I still can't believe you only take about 30 minutes a day working on this blog. It takes me that long just figuring out what to write in a thank you card, LOL!
BrilliantBrilliantBrilliant!!
Absolutely delightful!
Love it.
Nat,
You crack me up. Loved the limerick. *thud* did me in...:)
Who knew when Gaskell first wrote down
Her tale of a distinguished man with a frown
That Armitage would take on the part,
Stealing countless women's hearts,
And turning them helplessly upside down?
Inspiring Nat!! Well done!
Hola! Long time no see Richard as Mr Thornton! it was love at first sight when I saw him playing this character! I love this story as much as love him ♥ ♥ I think this weekend going to see N & S again! (Sorry if not well understood what I write, but I still write with my friend "the Google translator"!) Besos from the "frozen" Argentina.
Awesome!!!! Good job!
@Charleybrown appt reply and so true indeed
Lovely! Sooo good to see "Johnny" again, can't have too much of him!
Very witty, Nat!
Oh this is awesome. I wondered when you were gonna do a N&S one after your Gizzy one!
I have always loved the look @ me scene. That is a *THUD* moment for me!
Whenever you celebrate your anniversay, I've got something for your wall. It's the Sunshine Award. I waxed on about it over at my blog, and I can't think of a better person to give it to. Thank you for all of the Sunshine, Nat!
Oh, and I think someone gave you another award, but I don't remember who. Hopefully you know about it.
I love those sideburns, the man can wear 'em like no other!
Nat -- pretty please do a side burns post for me. please. :O
Oh Yes please! Sideburns AND stubble!
@Rob, sideburns, you're right! He wears them well. On some, they just look out of vogue, or as if the guy's too lazy to properly shave. But not on our man! It only makes him more swoonworthy :)
@Nat -- Not sure if you take requests, but it sounds like you have some -- sideburns & stubble. Personally, I would like to see an entire post on sideburns, but would share with stubble bec Guy of G had the most yummy stubble EVER! Hope u r enjoying your vacation.
Excellent work Nat! Love your limericks!
I love North & South photos...Extra yummy...With his shirt open and sleeves rolled up...Sweet!! The music to North & South is excellent as well...Thanks for putting it in the "Armitage Tunes" mix at the bottom of the page. :)
