Step one - smile sweetly at lovely man in elevator as you get on - no need to select the floor as you are going to the same one he is
Step two - Reach into purse and pull out day planner with pen while still smiling sweetly at lovely man
Step three - "accidently" drop day planner while keeping hold of pen -while the lovely man (being a gentleman)is distracted by picking up the planner for you - hit the emergency stop button and then use your pen to pop off the button and put in your purse
Step four - when the jolt of the sudden stop happens you must now stumble in to lovely gentleman and pickpocket any cell phone that he may have so no one can be called to rescue you and the aforementioned lovely man
@tyme_4_t, thanks for the laugh, have to remember your suggestions if I ever meet RA in an elevator ;) By the way tried to send you a message through YouTube didn't work. Maybe you can send me one (diveknit1)?
@Avalon I do think it is a European style, a lot of my friends in Germany used to wear this, it's considered a slightly more elegant yet still casual style.
I love the fashion look of John Porter in the lift and hope Richard adopts this style. I loved the jacket and jeans, would have preferred the t-shirt he wore with it in another scene though!
If I remember rightly Danni had just got out of that particular elevator and told him not to get a particular appendage "shot off" while on his mission.Cheeky mare!!!
I'd have loved to get stuck in that lift with him! Poor man would end up climbing the walls trying to escape my clutches (without success obviously!)
I always love me some GQ style pics (although to be honest I prefer MEN'S HEALTH style pics), and think it's about time for someone to photograph me GQ style as well :)
@Rob, great observation...ain't no one concerned about his wardrobe choices when they're stuck in an elevator with him, LOL!
@tyme4tea, strategy, strategy. It sounds like you might have some experience in this :)
@Sue, I was really shocked at what Danni said to him in that scene. Usually I have subtitles on when I watch a UK thing, but couldn't for this show and I kept thinking "no! She didn't say that. I must have heard wrong." I guess not!
**blushing** Well we must all have our fantasies and I guess the elevator one is a little more developed than others - How can I NOT be inspired to stRAtegize when JP/RA looks so darn good in the elevator... hmmmm off to work on my "locked in a library with Harry Kennedy" fantasy... ;) ;) ;)
I don't think any man can carry off this type of satorial elegenace, on some men sports/suit jacket and jeans looks rather scruffy IMO. However, on someone with the looks, height and slim build of RA well .. that's another thing all together.....
@Dezmond, I am sure GQ would be delighted to do a photo-shoot
Now, back to being stuck in that lift...............

I saw this pic floating around the Crinkle Zone of C-19... please let me know if I need to credit anyone in particular. Thanks! :)
Oh! to be stuck in that lift.......:D
Here's is my plan to get stuck...
Step one - smile sweetly at lovely man in elevator as you get on - no need to select the floor as you are going to the same one he is

Step three - "accidently" drop day planner while keeping hold of pen -while the lovely man (being a gentleman)is distracted by picking up the planner for you - hit the emergency stop button and then use your pen to pop off the button and put in your purse
Step four - when the jolt of the sudden stop happens you must now stumble in to lovely gentleman and pickpocket any cell phone that he may have so no one can be called to rescue you and the aforementioned lovely man
Step five - USE YOUR IMAGINATION!!
thank you for this photo Nat ... he's great! "
Greetings from France, I love your blog ...!
Laure
I don't like lifts but I am sure I could cope with being stuck in one with this lovely man!!
Haven't seen this pic before, so thanks Nat. BTW, I love this blog and am just catching up with everything on it as I have only recently found it.
@tyme_4_T LOL! I wouldn't mind getting stuck in an elevator with him either ;).
Thanks Nat for the pic, first time I see it.
OML :)
It would get very hot in the lift, wouldn't it.............
Funny how the post is about the clothes, but the comments all went to getting stuck in the elevator! :)
I have a question; is it a European thing to wear sport coats with jeans? You do not see that where I live.
Lovely picture and a great scene in SB3.

Jeans and sports coats are practically formal wear in my part of California so it's not just European style.
Lovely look on most men -- as diveknit says, slightly more elegant, yet still casual.
Lovelier still in this picture.

@t4t what a trap :-) good strategy! I'd bring a bottle of water in case of overheating due to ...
I was thinking power outage?!
Think the Jean-Sportscoat is a metropolitan thing. It's also done on the EastCoast.
Excellent strategy tyme_4_t! Sounds like you've had previous elevator experience! ;)
I always love me some GQ style pics (although to be honest I prefer MEN'S HEALTH style pics), and think it's about time for someone to photograph me GQ style as well :)
@tyme_4_t While I was reading your comment, the Mission Impossible theme was playing in my mind.
Richard ---> "I'm going to have to insist you stay on that side of the lift Sue and stop staring at my chesticles."
@Nat, Dang! What a pic! And you're right, so GQ!
@Rob, great observation...ain't no one concerned about his wardrobe choices when they're stuck in an elevator with him, LOL!

I love pictures of Richard in Jeans ... NO IDEA WHY :D
I would love to get stuck in that lift!!!

Elegance, Myrtle, el-eg-ance.
The thought of being stuck in the lift has sent me all a flutter:D
@tyme4tea, fantasize away my friend :) And thanks for sharing! It's a great way for those of us who have less active imaginations to live vicariously!
How sad! I must resort to someone else's fantasies, LOL!
And on that note, must admit, I'm curious to know how the "locked in a library with Harry" fantasy turns out, *wink*
I'm curious too about your fantasie with Harry Tyme4tea, Nat could help with an accompanying pic ;).
@littlevictories ROTFL! I can picture JP giving Sue his 'warning' look, though I think it could only make me more irrisistable.
OML :)
Doesn't it look like he's posing like a male model for the cover of a magazine in this photo? It has the "I'm hot and suave" vibe. And I likey.
Definitely looks like he is posing :)
