Inspired by the Richard Armitage cross-stitch patterns
featured in last week's post, The Richard Armitage Fan Blog proudly presents...
The Stick-Figure Richard cross-stitch pattern!
*Absolutely FREE with no ebay purchase required!!!*
How lucky are you to be a blog reader!? You're welcome.
Sure, CS-SFR may be a bit bow-legged... but that just gives him character.
Sure, this may not actually work as a "real" cross-stitch pattern since they're probably supposed to be
lined up just right on graph paper or something... but that's lame! And I don't have any graph paper.

Ahahahahaha! Love it.
LOL - if I tried to sew SFR, he would have very crooked legs and arms!!! Sewing is not my strong point :)
ROFL Oh Nat! You are so thoughtful! You have me in stitches!! :D
Oh Nat...you always seem to know when we need a good laugh! Made my day!
@Phylly3 - LOL! good one!
Laughing so hard...absolutely love the sideburns!
Thanks Nat, you rock!
You totally captured the piercing blue eyes! Daily giggle w/Nat: check!
Perfect! See Nat, you do know how to cross stitch!
Haha, brilliant!
With the lining up-iness I think it depends on which type of fabric you're using. There's a particular cross-stitch one which has little squares on, so it would be a graph thing, or if you do it on just any other sort of fabric, you could do it a bit how you want it. But yes, technically, it's supposed to line up. But you know what I say? Rebel! STICK IT TO THE MAN!
Fabulous! CS-SFR will be a best seller:)
LOL. This is too funny. This might just entice me to try my hand on embroidery again :)
Wonderfully funny and lovely at the same time.
I love your stick figure images and your cross stitch pattern is brilliant. As a hobby enthusiast for cross stitiching, especially with an embroidery machine, I absolutely adore your funny stick figure pattern!
Love your sense of humour Nat!
Love the sideburns!
I gotta have it!
BTW, this blog is playing music from The Cider House Rules....but I missed RA in that one!
LOL, I thought the same thing! But I love Cider House music.
Found a card at the store today that said, "Happy Birthday, Big Guy!" Wow, even Hallmark celebrates Team Leather's birthday. Which reminds me..you know the cards that you open up that say/sing something? How many kazillions of $$ are to be made with cards featuring the deep, chocolatey, smooth English accent of The Man Himself saying "You're coming home with me?/!" from N&S or "Stay and make this place bearable." from RH or the proposal from VoD? I'd buy the place out! And of course, send each of you a card.;)
Nat, do you know that you're awesome?:-D True story;-)
@sunflowersue -- Wow! What a super idea! Somebody could make a mint out of marketing his wonderfulness!
I still want a GoG action figure! *sob!*
Now, THIS is a project I might actually be able to finish. =)
This made me smile, Nat. Thank you.

I can't get over the detail. The pattern's resemblance to SFR is just spooky.
You kill me Nat! How do you come up with this stuff?
@Traxy, you've got me cracking up :)
ROFL - thanks a lot. its fantastic.
Perhaps Nat might make a set!
CS -SFGuy, Harry & Lucas :}
How super cute!
It's like an abstract expressionist counted cross stitch. Yay!!!
Looks good. All you need is the different colors. He's cute! love the addition of sideburns. Makes him have character. :)
Sunflower that is such a great idea for a card. I am surprised someone else has not capitalized on this before!
Thanks, Violet & Phylly. Seriously, I think a lot of women would go for it. Problem would be: hundreds of women clogging up the card aisles worldwide. And wearing the cards out before they get them out of the store. OK, I'm calling Hallmark right NOW!
Confession time. When I first started coming here, I didn't realize you could use the same "name" that you use at other places. I'm also known as NovemberBride. From now on, I'll sign in as NovemberBride. Yeah, y'all probably had bets on us being the same person...same goofy style of writing and thinking. Sorry about that. I really wasn't trying to be deceptive!
Okay, then welcome Novemberbride. Nice that you keep coming back. :)
@Sunflowersue aka NovemberBride -- LOL! I had no idea! Does that mean there are less RA admirers out there than I guessed. If everyone has several names...? Well, at least if you keep both identities you might be able to vote more than once on some polls! Yay Richard!
Seriously, it's nice to know you under any name at all! :)
I feel like such a goof! When I realized that everyone had the same names everywhere I went, I was afraid y'all would think I had a split-personality and was trying to fool you! LOL! Some blogs automatically brought up the names. This one doesn't, so the majority rules. NB, I am. And thanks. Lovely getting to know all of you!
Hello NovemberBride:) nice to know you by any name.
now, back to my cross stitch......
Back at cha, Myrtle!
I haven't even started mine...
There should be a book devoted to Richard Cross-Stitch. :)
No fair!!! You gals can't start stitching yet... I haven't even received my patterns yet!! LOL (patterns won't get to me by mail until sometime in the 2nd week of Feb)arrrgggghhh I am anxious to put needle to thread and get started creating my own little RA. Nice to know ALL of you, even those with split persoanlities:) JK :) just plain ol' Colleen
Not only do I have a split personality but I am a gigantic procrastinator. At least you've got your's ordered! BTW, I checked your blog out Colleen and I do the graham cracker houses w/my grands too!!! We smart. We make things go!!?
