Wrapping up Graphics Week

Usually a themed week ends on Friday,
but I have a few last things to add.

Wallpaper Collage by AlisaGB.

"Graphics Week" has been fun... even if it made me feel untalented! haha. :)
I admire these ladies's designing skills and am grateful that the we're all able to enjoy their
creativity so often through fan sites, forums, YouTube and their Live Journal pages.

There are so many gifted RA graphic designers out there, as you know.
If I didn't feature one of your favs, it's because I either have not seen their work,
or haven't yet "met" them online and felt awkward asking.  (Me? Timid? Hard to believe, I know.)

A few days ago, I decided to overcome some of my uncharacteristic shyness and started asking around if anyone knew how I could contact Carole or June, both having work featured on Richard Armitage Net. I soon realized I have email addresses for both a Carole and a June saved in my yahoo account. Before I could email June, I received one from her that included several of her designs, giving me permission to display them! I was excited to realize she was the same June I'd been wanting to contact... and I had her email address saved because she was also the one who sent me the cute "Gisburn" Destination photos posted earlier, which can be seen HERE. (What a co-inky-dink!)

Here are some of my favorite June creations...

June's Wallpaper:

This is just a taste of June's work.
To see more, check out Richard Armitage Net under "Wallpapers" and "Artwork."
(I have been linking to their site a lot this week, so thanks RAnet folks!)
You are welcome to use any of her art, with credit.

June, it was so sweet of you to share your designs!
It isn't the first time you've contributed to this blog and I'm thankful for your generosity!
Keep up the good work. :)

Spikesbint, Kiteflier, Hedgeypig and Heathra:
again, thank you for allowing me to share your work this week!

A few more shout-outs before closing...
I really like Yorkshire Wench's wallpaper displayed at The Armitage Army site HERE. I mentioned Carole... her work is amazing.  I especially like her Gisborne sigs HERE- that first one is gorgeous!  All the ladies featured at RAnet are downright too talented for their own good.  (Alicat, Dreamcatcher, Emerald, etc...)  I don't know any of them, but if you ladies happen to read this: thumbs up!!!

The first graphic designer ever featured on this blog was AlisaGB. If you haven't already, please check out that post HERE which includes a link to additional designs.  (It is her collage at the top of this post.)

More Alisa Wallpaper:

Okay, my gushing can end (for now.)
Thank you, thank you to those who participated in Graphics Week,
and all of you who have followed along!

Have a great weekend. :)

Her Highness, Heathra.

What sets Heather's artwork apart from others is that it's very edgy.
The vivid colors... the sexy photoshopping... wow!!!

I've already shown a bit of Heather's work before
but I couldn't do a graphics week and not include one of my favorite Richard Armitage artists!
Besides, I have more great Heathra items to share!  *Bounces and claps hands with excitement.*

If you want more than just a glimpse at Heather's work,
you can visit Heathra's Productions site
HERE.
(Be prepared to spend a lot of time at your computer swooning.)
Reminder: please credit Heathra when using her art and be sure
to ask permission before publishing it anywhere on the net.

Heathra's Icons:

The 2 Gisborne icons are hilarious!  (I could comment on each one, but will refrain.)

Heathra's Signatures:

I absolutely LOVE Heathra's sigs!!!
Remember those steamy manips on "Hanky Panky Week?"
Well, she has some sizzlin' hot sigs too, including one called "Sherwood Shag."
Hahahah!  Click HERE to see them. (#14 & 15.)
Oh my goodness gracious!

Heathra's Wallpaper:

Again, let me remind you that I'm only posting a few of my favorites.
Be sure to visit her site to see all of her jaw-dropping designs!

Cool story involving a Heathra design and Richard Armitage:
A while ago, Heather and some friends from the C19 forum, Jancis and Manda, wanted to send RA some t-shirts since he had been talking about how hot the summers were in Budapest while filming Robin Hood.  Jancis had an idea that one of them look like a rock band t-shirt you'd buy at a concert and came up with "The Havoc Tour" concept and wording.  Heather designed it and sent the files to Jancis.
The front had a skull design with "Guy of Gisborne The Havoc Tour 1192" and the back had all of the cities and dates listed. (Great idea!)  Jancis had the shirts printed and then gave them to Manda, who shipped the t-shirts to Richard along with letters from them and a few other RA fan buddies. Richard received the package while in Budapest and loved "The Havoc Tour" t-shirt.  He thought it was hilarous and mentioned it in several interviews!  Heather said, "I still get butterflies over it! *sigh*"   RA talked about it at the end of THIS radio chat and also at the end of THIS video clip.  (Both are interviews for RH Season 2.)
Heather said, "Once everyone heard the interviews they wanted to buy something with the design on it! So, I combined both the front and back design of the shirt to one side and Manda and I set up cafepress [where people could buy Havoc Tour merchandise] and all the proceeds went to a children's charity in the UK Richard had mentioned before. Barnados was the charity."  So thanks to a group effort, along with Heather's fabulous design, they were able to raise about $1,500 in those 3 months for charity... plus get a nod from The Rarmitage himself!  Hip hip hooray!
Last year, Heather sent Richard 3 original Havoc Tour posters to have autographed along with a letter explaining all the good that came out of his mentioning this design.  Six months later... 3 days before Christmas, Heather received her signed posters!  One of them she gave away to charity.  She said she was "SO excited!"  I was excited just reading about the whole thing and decided I had to share in case there are some of you who hadn't yet heard it.  So do any of you out there own some Havoc Tour merchandice?

By the way, Heather is waiting for Spooks 8 to air before completing "Sexy Back 3."
She's an amazing "vidder" and you can check out all of her YouTube creations HERE.
(What is up with all of these multi-talented artists!?  Gee whiz.)

Heather, I love your work & you totally kick butt.
Keep doing what you do.  A million thanks for sharing!

This Little Piggy Went to the BAFTAS!

My other idea for a title was "That'll do Pig, That'll do."
(But I wasn't sure how many people had seen the movie Babe.)

The third artist to be featured on "RA Graphics Week" is Hedgeypig.
Her art can be seen HERE on RichardArmitageNet under "Wallpapers" or "Artwork."

Here are a few of her creations that caught my eye...

Hedgeypig's Icons:

I love these icons.

Hedgeypig's Wallpaper:

Besides creating art on the computer, Hedgey also sketches...
Hedgeypig's Drawing- "Battlements"

Description by artist:  Made for a scene from a fic by Alicat.  A young Guy of Gisborne on the battlements. Pen and ink which was scanned in and tidied up in photoshop.

Hedgeypig has a great story about how she met Richard Armitage
at the 2009 BAFTAS and he autographed this drawing!
You can read her "BAFTA Report"
HERE and see the pictures she took
of the man himself!
(RA in a tux... in the flesh... How did she not pass out!?)
I laughed out loud at this part: "I now have zero street cred left." referring to her gushing.

Thanks for sharing, Hedgey! :)

Kiteflier Frenzy

If I were to sum up Kiteflier's artwork in one word, it would be elegant.
She has such an eye for detail and makes everything look so very classy.
She is also a "multi fandom" artist, but a great deal of her work
features Richard Armitage.

Only a few of her creations will be featured here,
but you can see all of her gorgeous designs by visiting one of her sites:

Before displaying KF's work, I'd like to stress a few things:
*Please let Kiteflier know which artwork you take/use by commenting on one of her sites.
*If you use her icons or sigs, please credit her, so that others can be referrenced to her sites.
*Do not upload these designs (or those on her sites) anywhere on the web.
They are for personal use only.  (I received special permission to feature them on my blog.)
*Do not change her work in any way or make them available for print.
*Comments about KF's work are welcome here, but please comment on her sites as well
so that she can get direct feedback.  Thanks!

Kiteflier's Wallpaper
The name "Dreams of Fancy" is really suiting because these are very dreamlike indeed...

Are these not amazing!?!
I am totally in awe of her talent.

Here are a few of my favorite
Kiteflier Icons:

Again, she has many, many more icons, wallpaper and sigs available at Dreams of Fancy
or KF Creations (links highlighted at the top of the post) so be sure to visit them!

Kiteflier's Little Guy:
Backtracking a bit, my first introduction to Kiteflier was actually not her graphics, but her "Little Guy's Pad" site (click HERE to visit) which chronicles the adventures of Little Guy and his friends. It's so funny and cute!  (To fill you in, Little Guy and Little Marian were wed earlier this year and are expecting their first baby around Christmas.)  My favorite post is the 12/25/08 entry, "A Second Christmas, Castle Style..." so check it out!

Kiteflier, thank you for your beautiful (and in the case of LG, funny) creations
and for allowing me to share them with my blogging buddies.
