amongst RA fans... but I like it.  I love his Gizzy smirk. I do have

to keep myself from humming THIS song, though.

What are your plans for Halloween?

Do you enjoy watching scary movies?

What was your favorite costume as a child?

My mom used to make all of our costumes out of whatever she could throw together

and they were always awesome!  My favorite was "Glinda the good witch" from The Wizard of Oz.

My boys (ages 5 and 2 1/2) are both obsessed with trains and requested to go as conductors this year.

They look SO cute in their little overalls, hats, and bandannas while blowing their whistles.

(I hope they get a lot of chocolate for my traditional "tax payment.")

One thing I definitely won't be doing this weekend is watching any horror movies! 
(Even if  Richard appeared in one, I don't think I could bring myself to watch it. I'm such a chicken!) 
I'm still traumatized from sneaking out of bed, tip-toeing down the hall and peeking at the scary movies my
parents watched on Halloween night. (I prefer the fun, non-scary Halloween-type flicks like Hocus Pocus,
Edward Scissorhands, Casper, etc.)   *Remember the Edward Scissorhands-Gizzy comparison HERE?*

and swooned.  RA's profile pics are my fave.

I'm not really a big fan of guns, but he makes them look sexy.

As many of you probably know,

thanks to the wonderful RA sites out there,

Spooks Season 9 is set to air in the UK beginning September 18th.

How exciting... more Lucas North, coming right up!!!

After last year's whirlwind of Spooks Season 8 publicity

(which included countless magazine interviews and spoilers), I'm going to

 attempt to avoid as much of that as possible to not taint my viewing experience of the season,

 like Skully at The Spooks Fan Blog.  We'll see how much self-restraint I have.  May not be much.
I can't resist glancing at the promo pics.  New RA pics are just
WAY too tempting not to take a peek!

I've been busy traveling the world collecting RA items for The Richard Room.

Actually, with a best friend getting married,  my husband's birthday, oldest son starting preschool, 

youngest son with a cold, and nesting syndrome kicking in, things have been CRAZY! 

Posts may be cut back a bit from now on... but keep checking in!

I keep thinking to myself, "I'd love to see Richard paired up with a redhead, dang it."

Obviously I should watch it.  Several of you have mentioned it's available on YT.

I don't know why, but I got a kick out of seeing

Richard... er, Alec, playing a video game. 

It's just so "normal."  (I'm used to seeing his characters  wearing a cravat,

yielding swords,  gun fighting or whatever... but not so much every day stuff.)

Just to point out a few things about why I love this pic~

1. Look at how John is staring at Margaret!!! (Yes, 3 exclamation points are required.)

2. No cravat, unbuttoned shirt!  (Plus "white puffy sleeves." See Mulubinba's posts HERE and HERE.)

3. I can't get enough RA profile pics.  The jawline, the sideburns, the straight nose... sexy!

4. Ah, the beloved "train scene."  The second John and Margaret lock eyes

as he's stepping off the train, I melt and giggles ensue during the rest of the movie.

What do you get when you take an adorably petite fan,

and place them next to a tall, handsome actor?

A great photo op!

This is RA fan "Soysauce" who was lucky enough to meet RA on the set of Spooks last year. 

Every time I search for Richard Armitage in photobucket, this picture pops up and I have to

look at it.  It's just too cute. I mean... look at the size difference! I love Soysauce's big grin and

the fact that Richard has his arm around her. (Aw...) You can read about her experience

Photo Friday ~ The Letter is Off! (and random hot pics)

Our fan letter is on its way to England, folks!
Here it is, being tucked into its envelope.
(Paper doll SFR didn't go along for the ride. He's just modeling the goods.)

Five pages stapled together.  A bit much?  Oh well.

My main objective for wanting to send this letter was not to get a reply.

(That would be neat, but I'm not expecting it.  I'll let you know if that ever happens, though.) 
I just wanted to send a message to say, "Hey, I like your work.  Keep it up!"
I also wanted to let him know about the RA blogging world, which offers another

environment for Armitage fans to interact and share their thoughts.

(I did mention the Fanstravaganza in the final draft.)

In a recent article, Richard said he doesn't like to read about himself online,

but maybe he'll take a peek at our blogosphere one day! :)

I appreciate that several of you added your 2 cents to the letter, which is the best part.
