Note from Nat *updated*

The baby I've been baking forever should be making her appearance sometime over the next 2 weeks... so I'm probably not going to be posting much this month or even next.  Maybe a little something here or there when I'm motivated, but I'm mainly feeling lazy and wish I could hibernate. :)  A while ago, I asked a few RA buddies (who aren't already busy with their own blogs) to be featured as guest bloggers with their own posts.  I thought this would be a fun way let others try their hand at it, experience different "voices," and fill in during my absence. (So please do keep checking in since there will be interesting posts appearing.)  If you would like to participate as a guest blogger, please email me: armitageblog@yahoo.com and we'll work out the details.  (Don't be shy... it's fun!)  *Update: I have created a few posts that are scheduled to automatically be published later in the month.  I'll let you know which are prescheduled since I may not be available to reply to emails/comments at that time.

Am I crazy for secretly wishing I won't go into labor until after I see the season finale of Spooks next week? Despite slacking on my reviews, I have seen episodes 6 and 7.  I don't even know what to say about them.  (Me?  Speechless!?  Unheard of!)  I can't decide if I love or hate the story lines.  A bit of both, I suppose.  One thing I know- I have been watching on the edge of my seat (thanks to avoiding spoilers) which is something I love about Spooks.  Highlight to read spoiler sentence: In seasons 7 and 8, at least two of the main grid characters died, and so far nobody has bitten the dust (despite a few close calls) so I keep wondering who/when... because you know it has to be coming.  Oh, the suspense!!!
I'll be around a bit, but until next time... I'll see ya when I see ya.
Peace out, peeps.

Be Well Nat!
And remember, ol' Lucas will still be here for you when you're ready to watch (thank goodness for the internet!)

Nat, you will be in my thoughts and prayers and I look forward to reading all about it when your little bundle has arrived and you are feeling up to the mark again!!:)
Like Colleen I have just finished watching Ep. 7 and was blown away by the whole thing. Hate what is happening with Lucas or maybe we really need to call him John now? But what superb acting on RA's part! I have to admit that the scene when he *spills the beans* to Harry made me weep! SO emotional! I was totally drawn into how he plays this character whichever version is the truth - John's or Vaughn's. Personally I'm hoping it's John's of course and I'm STILL hoping for another twist in the end that redeems him - or am I just being a hopeless dreamer??

Finally, thank you "littlevictories" for the lovely response to my previous comment. It truly made ME misty eyed which I actually hadn't been when I wrote it - just nostalgic!!

Wishing you all the best in the coming days, Nat.

Hope the unfolding of your little bundle will be a breathe compared the unfolding of Lucas/John in the final episode! :)

What a nice gesture to have guest bloggers participating in your absence!

Wishing you good luck and lots of rest.

Best of luck with baby Nat, try to take these last few days easy. It's totally understandable to want to wait until Spooks has finished, I hope the baby is listening to your plea!

Nice idea to have guest bloggers, I look forward to reading what they have to say.
Take care x

Nat, you will be missed. May you be blessed with a perfect child and an easy birth.

Having guest bloggers is a terrific idea!

Here is wishing you joy in the upcoming birth of your precious little one. :)I think it is a great idea to have guest bloggers..Keeps the site going while you take a much needed rest. Even if you can't see the last episode next week, it will be out there for you to see when you have the chance...We will be here when you return when you can...You are sweet, kind, helpful, and creative. You will be missed...:)

I agree with many others here in that episode 7 blew me away...Lucas/John is really changing...You know episode 8 is going to be a climactic episode...Something big is going to happen...Will Lucas/John be around..On the run..or something else...This is a big twist to make Lucas not who we thought he was....

Personally, I think he is vulerable that he allows himself to be manipulated by Vaughn...Who knows if Lucas is even remembering the past correctly or just going by what Vaughn says...

It certainly is not boring...

Nat,

You will certainly be missed! But I wish you all the best and many blessings to you and your family.

Natalie Oh I am so excited for you! I wish you the best for your wonderful adventure with your little girl. Would you believe me if I told you I'm crying out of emotion? I imagine the wonderful time you must be living with the arrival of this new little person in your life and your family. I could not have children and I get excited just imagine the time you'll be living, the preparations, the bag is ready, the car in a position [ha ha ...], in short, everything before that special moment, I wish you serenity and you can enjoy it fully. Is next week the season finale already? This weeks' episode was brutal- I cried in anger and frustration :( These Spooks writers have been killing me for 9 seasons, may be my last... though I think I may be falling for Max Brown now too(Dmitri)- haha. Why do British actors have to be so freakin' irresistible? Hope nothing is as it seems with Lucas. Anyway, Natalie good luck in the coming weeks. Hope all goes well with the new baby arrival and you get to watch the finale! Take care and be well!

After discovering RA earlier this year, your blog has become my go-to home for all things Richard. It's such a fun and happy place to be, and that is due to you Nat. Wishing you all the best with your precious new baby. Many blessings to you and yours!

Since you do not feel like doing much and have nothing to do but wait....It would be an excellent time to pull out North and South with a bag of chips.

I still have to watch episode 7... I'll knock that out this evening :) I love that Spooks is the priority though lmao I would totally feel the same way :D

Violet8886 said...

I think the episode (7) is brutal cos' we really need heroes now..With the economy off and a lot of things uncertain, it's nice to know that Section D is intact...But with Lucas not being himself..Harry distracted by thinking of Ruth and his life and Ruth being in danger and so on...It seems even Section D is in trouble..Those in control are not in control...

Well, we have one more episode to go..Hopefully, we will be left satisfied...Maybe we will still be left wondering...The writers certainly got us judging by the emotions that came out of episode 7...

Take care Nat! I hope everything goes well :)

Nat,
Belated congrats on your soon-to-be bundle of joy! And just in time for Thanksgiving, too!
I wanted to thank you for this fantastic blog in its entirety, and especially the Spooks reviews--and the Spoiler markings :)
I haven't seen any of season 9 yet (which is horrible of me, but grad school is being rather demanding at the moment). I can't wait till Thanksgiving break--in the evenings, once the family is asleep, I will be reading your reviews and having mini Spooks marathons! (Once I find a way to actually watch the episodes)
Wishing you high-quality sleep in the coming weeks,
Jane

Twinkling Moon said...

@Jessica, love your comment :)

@Violet8886, good insight about needing heroes at this time. I think you're right, maybe at times like these we like to know that things are going to be ok, rather than seeing things going to he** as they are in Section D. Heck, even Harry seems like he's losing it a bit!

Blessings and prayers for a safe and healthy delivery for you and the new bairn..a sweet, lovely lass I am sure. Look forward to your return and your little one's blog debut! She has a lot of virtual fairy godmothers!

Best wishes for a safe delivery, Nat ....the boys must all be so excited...and I am sure you are ready ;)
If last week's Spooks didn't put you into labour than maybe the finale will.....!!!
I had to watch last week's ep. twice - I was so shocked after a spoiler free first viewing I needed to rewatch to wrap my brain around it all! Ah, well, let's hope next week gives us some "closure" - in a good way.

Well Nat, enjoy your "time off" and I hope you have lots of helpers around to give you some TLC while you care for your new little one :)
