Gun grip. Ha! Knows how to get to a girl's heart, doesn't he?

YES to all!
But Harry Kennedy was my first intro to RA...so he had me at Smile & stripey sweater! Then he put on glasses and I was a goner!

They are all great, but Thornton, he had me with his imposing demeanor and brooding stare :)

Thornton and Harry are up there...Thornton is brooding..His stare is indeed intoxicating...Harry is more Happy go lucky..joking around..relaxed...That's attractive too...

He had me at "hello".

(Okay, all he had to do is show up).

Sigh...

So, yeah, it was almost love at first sight (in my case it was Harry's smile....plonk!) I can't wait to see RA smile again- it's been a while. I wish he could bottle it. Do I sound too fangirly?

Actually it was his yell in N&S that made me sit up and pay attention. I noticed him, really noticed him, then. I admired the yell, admired the actor with such a great yell. Swooon. His yells are so primal, I melt. Do I need a therapist? ;)

With JP, not the gun grip though that is cool. It was his motion. Fluid movements that suggest power without being a hulk. I'll stop now.

Stop it, Nat! I'm meeeelting. ;)

Mr Thornton for me, though I adore Harry too, and as for Lucas.......

Lucas is hot because he is vulnerable...He has a little boy in him...He's not just macho man...I think there is a little boy or sweet vulnerability to all the roles Richard takes on...Even John Porter has that boyish charm...:)

I'm with those who find it almost impossible to choose - but - Thornton as we first see him in his mill!! Just WOW!!! I think I gasped at THAT first sight and it still has the same effect each time I see it and have lost count just how often that has been. :)

Well, I fell for him when I first saw John, standing tall, over looking his mill, and then that yell *thud* he had me then, oh boy did he have me *wink*

But I have to say I agree with Violet8886, it's his vulnerability combined with masculinty that gets me every time :) I think Guy has that trait in spades! (Well, ok, I admit I'm a bit partial to Guy :)) But I do think the masculinity/vulnerability balance must some how be a reflection of something in RA himself because it seems to transcend into pretty much every role I've seen him in.

Looking forward to seeing how he pulls it off as a dwarf. Hey, maybe for some it will be "love at first dwarf?" Does that even make any sense, LOL!

Adorable...even with his gun.

He had me at brood but I was lost when he opened his mouth. I've always been a sucker for guys with accents, regardless of the language.

Someone elsewhere pointed out imagining Thorin with a deep voice (I got that already from the audiobook) BUT added northern accent!!
Why didn't I think of that??
So soon I might be lost over a .. Dwarf??!!

Oh, I am hoping for some Guy smirks, sneers and snivels!!
