Holy Moly Frizzoly. CAN'T WAIT!

"The Hobbit" trailer hath made itself known.
*Pause the blog's background music (bottom of screen) before viewing*

I am excited for so many reasons!  Doesn't Richard Armitage look and sound amazing as Thorin?  I loved hearing him sing his deep, dwarfy song... which I shall henceforth call the swoon tune.  (LOTR movies have awesome soundtracks, but add RA's voice to the mix?  Oh, heavens.)  I liked how Thorin started singing and then the others joined in, all serious and deep... I may develop little crushes on all the dwarfs just because of that!  (Even the chubby one with the crazy braid-beard.  Okay, maybe not.  But his goofy look makes him endearing- like a pug puppy... weird looking, but cute.)  I loved seeing familiar faces from the previous trilogy and look forward to knowing the dwarfs better!  But besides the actors... THE SCENERY!  I just can't wait to head back to Middle Earth next year!  Why must it be a year away!?  The suspense! Have you noticed how many exclamation points I've been using!?!?!!!!  Peter Jackson is a genius.  The end.

I'm sure the web has already been a-buzz with this,
but feel free share your thoughts here as well. :)

Oh, Nat, I just knew this would bring you out of retirement...not the right word but you know...

I'm pretty sure that the !!!!!s on all of our keyboards are worn out. I know mine is looking a bit haggard, like me. I stayed up way past my bedtime last night...I just couldn't rev DOWN.

I have a worry tho...Thorin's singing was subdued for that wonderful song. What if he just goes crazy and belts out a song full gusto??!!! I mean there will unconscious women all over every theater worldwide. Big Holy Moly!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amen to that, Nat! :)

Wishing you a merry Christmas and a happy new year! :)

I'm not usually a swooner but seeing RA on the screen, singing!!!!, was a bit more than I could handle and I quite went into hysterics! I can't stop smiling! :D :D
The Hobbit looks so amazing! I wish we didn't have to wait until next Christmas! But hopefully it will be that much better. Thanks for sharing!

Just like NB, I came here knowing you *must* have written something about this trailer.

You should say have put a warning or something, I began reading and then *Thorin sings*, my startled face must have been very funny LOL!. Secs later I remember your blog runs soundtracks and stayed quite to enjoy *grin*.

Happy Christmas and New Year Nat!

Nat, I'm blown away by this little snippet of information. I'm very impressed with Peter Jackson's amazing talents and I know Richard will be brilliant in his role! If this doesn't put him "on the map" in the movie world, I don't knnow what will. I see Oscars in the future!

Hi Nat, I am a newbe, first saw him Nov17 thanks to my Kindle Fire and free Prime. Like BBC and Fantasy so I gave Robin Hood a shot. Who knew I would go gaga for the villain. You know your a fan when you watch all 39 episodes of Robin Hood in a week, when your not watching sexy back123, womanizer or any interview he's in on You Tube. Or when you deside to give MI5(Spooks)a try and you skip over 6. seasons to get to Lucas North. I hope maybe this big wave of exposure will bring you back into the waters. I laughed all day at your posts, and I know there's plenty to go over, but the way I go at it the end will be here too quickly. I certainly understand though, I wondered how you could manage to begin with. Thanks for all the laughs you left behind.

I simply cannot get that song out of my head. The vision of Thorin on horseback had my head spinning and even the thought of it has my mind spinning.

I hope you had a lovely Christmas celebration with your family Natalie!
I have been so busy with my own family that I missed your post until now.
The trailer is wonderful - especially the song. Richard's voice is so deep and beautiful - I just can't wait for more! He is the perfect Thorin, by now I am sure all must agree!

In the trailer he looks tall for a dwarf..but I guess if he's the King of the dwarfs or a regal character it's only natural he would be bigger..Love the fur he is wearing too..:):)
