Oh, haaay!
It is I, Nat:
writer of limericks,
drawer of stick-figures,
admirer of Richard Armitage.
(That can go on my headstone some day.

Better put it in my will.)
Long time, no see!!!
It has been nearly 2 years (two years!)
since I last blogged.

I'm feeling a little awkward at the moment...
like I just showed up at a high school reunion
What do I say? What do I do?
Who is that bald guy winking at me over there???
Oh, it's the OTHER Richard Armitage.

It's not meant to be, Other Richard.

we ALL have something in common.

(Though RA + Ben & Jerry's is a good combo too.)
Richard tux-wearing Armitage:
grower of beards,
brooder of broods,
actor of passion.
Our favorite trouper.
You furrow that brow, Richard.
So where have I been???
If you must know, I went on an Armitage sabbatical.
I visited all of the locations where Richard's films took place
and collected memorabilia and made a little shrine upon my return.
Just kiddin'.
I've been living life!
A lot has happened in the last 2 years...

There are now 5 littles. That's right- FIVE.

We moved. My husband went back to school.
I started a new business venture. I've binge-watched a lot of Netflix
and Amazon Prime goodies. (More on that later.)
I've thought about my old RA buddies and wondered
Plus all the others I've "bumped into" online on blogs or forums.
I've skimmed over the RA blogs now & then
and kept tabs on Richard's twitter account a bit,
but to be honest, I am totally out of the Armitage loop!
But don't worry... I know all about the Angler's Loop
thanks to being a cub scout leader.
You're welcome.
I've still enjoyed watching RA's greats,
as I tweeted last week...

However, I have a lot of catching up to do because Richard
has been a very busy bloke. I haven't watched
Urban & the Shed Crew, Berlin Station, or Brain on Fire yet.

I didn't even know Richard was in
Alice Through the Looking Glass! (My daughter has been wanting
to see that one and now I realize that I finally have motivation.)
I plan to be a bit of a couch potato during my summer evenings.
I'll exhaust the kids with the park and pool and chores (heh, heh *evil laugh*)
I'll exhaust the kids with the park and pool and chores (heh, heh *evil laugh*)
and then by night... it'll be me and RA.
And this random guy on the couch. (What???)
I know there are probably loads of
photo shoots, fan art, and fan videos for me to view.
I mean, I didn't even know about THIS masterpiece
until I saw it on Serv's blog. Which makes me wonder,
WHAT ELSE HAVE I BEEN MISSING?
WHAT ELSE HAVE I BEEN MISSING?
Please fill me in!
As I once again dip my toe into the RA pool,
I will be posting my thoughts here and/or on twitter.
So stay tuned!

All right!!!!!
Hello! And Welcome back!
Most of us haven't seen Urban or Brain on Fire... still waiting for Sleeper and some of us (me included) have pretty much talked ourselves OUT of seeing Pilgrimage. Rumor has it that he will be in yet another stage production that most of us won't be able to see... Thank God for Berlin Station - lol!

Thanks Linda, Serv & Zee.
So why have most of you not seen Urban or Brain?
And why have you talked yourselves out of Pilgrimage?
I need details.
Urban has been shown only twice: at the Leeds Film Festival and at a club screening somewhere in southwest England. Sleepwalker has only been shown once -- at a film festival somewhere in California (San Jose, maybe?). Brain on Fire was shown three times at the Toronto film festival, its US rights were purchased by Netflix, which hasn't announced a date for airing it yet, and it's been seen in theaters only in Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong, Thailand, Cambodia, and I think somewhere in Eastern Europe. (Romania?). I went to NYC to see Pilgrimage and it's quite violent. Release date in the US for screens, streaming and VOD is August 11 (July 27 in Scandinavia). Hope that helps.
Welcome back. :D
Thanks for the info, Serv. I guess I don't have as much catching up to do as I originally thought.
bZirk! Good to see you!
Not sure if you watched Hannibal or if it's the kind of thing you'd watch; that might be on this list, too.
I did watch Hannibal when it aired. I actually liked the series even though it freaked me out. I never did blog about the final season, though. It was my least favorite of the 3 seasons, even though I thought RA did a wonderful job in his role.
Aha -- well! there's something to add to your list to blog about :) if you want :)
Thrilled to bits to see you back! I've really missed your blog and look forward to more posts to come!
Happy to have you back...I was a lurker then. I am appreciative for the humor you always provide!!! And congrats on all of life's developments!👏🎉
Thank you, Chazak! :)
Thanks, Anon!!!
I'm thrilled to see that you are back. When I first discovered RA and spent hours consuming fan goodies, yours were some of my favorites! I go for fun and funny, and Stick Figure Richard certainly delivered. Hit us with your sense of humor again, please! From Armitagebesotted (who is "Anonymous" because she doesn't feel like setting up uet another blog account)
I was able to see ''Love, Love. Love'' in New York. It was quite an experience, I initially thought, he was ''Ted Hughes'', my favorite British poet Laureate [23/11/16], now, i am sure I will not be able to see him live in Oedipux Rex, much like The Crucible in terms of the excruciating pain and anguish he will go through to deliver with panache a very sensitive and intricate tragedy of mother -son incest, foretold by the gods and the attempts of the king to prevent it, led must assuredly to tragedy's fulfillment. As Minerva once said, [or to that effect] don't tamper with god's plans].
